Cory Leone Johnson is a country singer/songwriter from Oklahoma. Cory began signing at three years of age and playing guitar and writing songs t fourteen. Cory sang and played guitar om several bands before forming the band, New Legend in 1989. the band was noticed by Miller Lite at a local festival in Tulsa where they opened for Restless Heart, and offered them an opportunity to be the Miller Lite Band. Cory had the songwriting bug and was wanting to make a move to Nashville. So in January of 1990 after turning down the Miller Lite offer, Cory made the move to Music City. Cory signed with ASCAP and struck a friendship with John Briggs a membership rep  at ASCAP who introduced him to his first opportunity in writing with James Dean Hicks, Publisher at On The Mantle Music. Cory worked with Hicks from 91-2000 and learned how to craft a great song. Cory writes professionally and records his own music. He now makes his home is "God's Country", Montana where he promotes songwriting through live shows, writers rounds and festivals in Montana and Wyoming.
